 *   Funding Status. Funding Wave 49 for FY 2009 and Wave 80D for FY 2008 will be released this week. The first funding wave for FY 2010 is awaiting FCC approval of the SLD’s procedures for this year’s reviews.
 *   Comments Requested on “Lowest Corresponding Prices.”  The FCC has requested comments on an USTA/CTIA petition seeking clarification of the E-rate rule requiring service providers to offer services at most favored nation pricing.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Verizon has established an online procedure for its customers to choose discounted or reimbursed billing. Reply comments on the FCC proposed rules to permit community use of school Internet facilities are due this Monday.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated April 16 – Corrective SPIN Changes.  Discusses “corrective” — as opposed to “operational” — SPIN changes.
