 *   Funding Status Update.   Funding Wave 43 for FY 2009 will be released this week. The SLD has not yet released preliminary demand estimates for FY 2010, but available data indicates that critical demand components will be at least 11% above FY 2009.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Comment deadlines are set for two of the three pending FCC E-rate proceedings.  Five new members have been appointed to the USAC Board.  The U.S. Department of Education has released a draft of its National education Technology Plan
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated March 3 – RAL Corrections.  Last week’s SLD News Brief is required reading.  The RAL process provides applicants with an important opportunity to correct previously filed Form 471 applications for FY 2010.
