FYI, I will be out of the office for vacation the week of June 11th. I may occasionally check email but it will not be reliable. This is not expected to cause any problems with tech plan review because of the low volume of plans anticipated this year. :)

  *   Funding Status.  Wave 46 for FY 2011 will be released this week.  The first wave for FY 2012 should be released next week.
  *   USAC Training Updates.  This month's SLD training workshops for service providers included updates and clarifications on FY 2012 funding demand, the "lowest corresponding price" requirement, charitable contributions, and open issues in eligibility.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The deadline for complying with the new CIPA requirements, and for updating expiring tech plan approvals, is July 1st.  The FCC posted two new E-rate appeal orders and one erratum affecting 16 applicants and one service provider.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated May 18.  Registration for the SLD's eight fall training sessions will open later this week.
