  *   Funding Status.  The SLD is prepared to release the first funding wave for FY 2013, but is awaiting FCC approval.  Funding waves are scheduled this week for FY 2010, FY 2011, and FY 2012.
  *   Priority 2 Funding Outlook for FY 2013, cont.  Through the third quarter of 2013, $450 million is available for roll-over into FY 2013.  With one quarter to go, this is far short of the estimated funding required to fully fund Priority 2 discounts at the 90% level.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The final deadline for submitting missing FY 2013 application certifications and Item 21 attachments is May15th.  The SLD is accepting registration for its fall schedule of regional applicant training, but several sessions are already full.  USAC announced that it will begin a limited number of service provider audits.  A recent FCC appeal decision rejected a district request for review of bid assessment for which price was not the most heavily weighted factor..
  *   SLD News Brief for May 3 - FY 2012 Recurring Services Invoicing.  The latest News Brief discusses a number of topics regarding BEAR and SPI invoicing for FY 2012 recurring services.
