  *   Funding Status.  The SLD could release the first funding wave for FY 2013 just after Memorial Day.  Funding waves are scheduled this week for FY 2011 and FY 2012.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC is rolling-over $450 million in funding for FY 2013 to cover all Priority 1 requests.  The deadline for responding to the FCC's request for comments on bundled components id May 23rd.  The SLD is accepting registration for its fall schedule of regional applicant training, but several sessions are already full.  USAC announced that it will begin a limited number of service provider audits. Four new FCC decisions addressed appeals by over 100 appellants.
  *   SLD News Brief for May 17 - Summer Planning for Applicants.  The latest News Brief reviews a number of steps applicants should be taking this summer.
