  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window opened January 9th and will close March 26th.  Funding waves for FY 2010 - 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   ConnectEd and Additional Broadband Funding.  Additional, but somewhat conflicting, hints were dropped last week about additional E-rate funding.  More clarity is anticipated this week.
  *   Updates and Reminders.  USAC Acting CEO Barash is leaving mid-month.  Form 470s for FY 2014 should be filed as soon as possible.  Most Form 486s for FY 2013 waves 21-24 are due in February.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated January 31.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses Form 471 application preparation.
