  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window will close March 26th.  Funding Wave 38 for FY 2013 is scheduled this week.  USAC approved a recommendation to the FCC to deny all Priority 2 requests for FY 2013.
  *   ConnectED: Much Ado about Something?  Speeches by President Obama and FCC Chairman Wheeler renewed commitments to additional broadband funding. No real changes are expected before FY 2015.
  *   Updates and Reminders.  With one quarter to go, USAC reported $600 million in available roll-over funds for FY 2014.  Applicants should carefully review requests for web hosting discounts.  Form 470s for FY 2014 should be filed as soon as possible.  Most Form 486s for FY 2013 waves 21-24 are due in February.  Funding requests for Priority 1 and Priority 2 should be made on separate applications.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated February 7.  The SLD's latest News Brief includes a number of FAQs regarding the Form 470 and competitive bidding process.
