[gpl_list] Todays GPL Meeting (Dec 8, 2015) here at DSL is cancelled.

Folks:

Good morning - please note that today's GPL meeting has been cancelled due to a number of factors: bad weather,  sickness (lost my voice and on medication), and light agenda.  So I had an email conversation with Cy Smith this morning and we decided to send around the Authoritative Document (see attached PDF) that we were going to discuss at today's meeting.

The review team for the document did a great job with their input on the definition of the term and so I would like to thank them for their help and effort with this task.    I made some final edits to the document to reduce it from 3 pages to 2 and now I think it is ready to go to OGIC.    I  plan to briefly present this document at the next Framework Forum  Monday Dec 14, 2015. http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/CIO/GEO/standards/docs/ 19th_Standards_Forum/DraftAgenda19thFrameworkForum.pdf  so as to solicit input from the audience  before we hand off to OGIC for review and comment.

Concerning agency round table items,  if GPL members would like, you are welcome to email back to me  any agency salient roundtable item's or updates that you feel are appropriate and I will then collate and insert into next month's Jan 2016 GPL meeting.
