Introduction to Motivational Interviewing Workshop
An overview of the MI technique will be presented along with underlying assumptions and basic principles. Basic skills will be practiced with ample opportunity for group interaction and skills acquisition.


Advanced Motivational Interviewing Workshop
This interactive workshop will build upon basic skills (e.g., expressing empathy, rolling with resistance, exploring ambivalence, eliciting change talk) and introduce more advanced techniques. Methods for continued self-evaluation and development will be introduced and practiced.
