Hi Everyone,
As we discussed on the TA calls this week, attached, please find
guidance on how and when to submit CHANGE Tool assessment data to the
NPAIHB. Thank you to call participant who had a chance to contribute to
this document and the submission dates. Please be in touch with your
Liaisons with any questions.
Other updates covered during the call include:
Met Group is interested to hear from and work with any of you who would
like to use the Navajo Nation's smokefree Executive Order to further
your commercial tobacco policy goals. Please be in touch with Lee
Collinge (lcollinge at metgroup.com) to learn more. Thank you to call
participants who had a chance to speak with Lee and provide input on the
resources that Met Group is developing.
The race oversample of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey
is in process, and data collection should be complete by the end of
2011. Because of changes in how CDC weights the data, data analysis will
not be available for another year after collection is complete. These
data will be used to update TPEP's American Indian/Alaska Native
Specific Population Data Sheet.
The next required TA calls for Tribal Coordinators are on August 10th
(9:30 a.m.) and 11th (1:30 p.m.). There is a required training webinar
in June (June 15 9:30 a.m.; June 16 1:30 p.m.).
I look forward to speaking with you all then.
Kati
