[HealthyTribes] retail story request

Hello Everyone,

As mentioned on the optional call/webinar, we could use your help to meaningfully tell the story of tobacco retail.  In order for us to sell this story, we are going to need tangible, real-life examples, ideally from an adolescent, parent, and advocate perspective.  Many of you may have a particular person or story in mind; or perhaps you have been working with advocates who represent specific groups that have been targeted by Big Tobacco.


SPECIFIC ASK:  Please Email me (holly.heiberg at state.or.us<mailto:holly.heiberg at state.or.us>) and cc your liaison by October 20, 2013 with the following information for a story:

*         Name of the person (s) to interview

*         Contact Information

*         Brief explanation of why they have a compelling point of view/story


If the person is of interest, I will reach-out to you before making contact to decide what the best approach is. From there, I will work with you and Coates Kokes to decide if it is best to collect video testimonial, written quotes/interviews with photos, or keep as a resource that reporters can reach out to directly.
