Hello TPEP and Healthy Community Grantees!

The following is information on a new optional training series for the 2015-2016 grant year.

SAVE THE DATE

The Systems Change for Health(tm) Competency Based Training Program is a 6-course training series put on by the Directors of Health Promotion and Education (DHPE)<http://www.dhpe.org>, in collaboration with the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention (HPCDP) section at the Oregon Health Authority. This training initiative was developed recognizing that health problems are heavily influenced by policies and environments that either sustain healthy behaviors and practices or fail to support healthy choices. This training series is open to both HPCDP grantees and partners. There are limited spots for these training sessions. When registration is open, we will notify you -- please sign up early. While we encourage you to sign up for the entire series, you may register for single sessions that fit your training interests and your program budget. These trainings are OPTIONAL for all HPCDP grantees and partners.

NOTE: The Systems Change for Health(tm) Competency Based Training Program series will be held back-to-back with OHA Grantee In-Person trainings. This is to maximize your travel time and budget. Please speak with your liaison to consider which trainings best fit your work plan and needs.
