Join HPCDP (Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention) for a one-hour webinar about cannabis and indoor clean air, featuring speakers from American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation<https://no-smoke.org/> (ANR). The ANR is a 501(c)3, educational nonprofit organization, which creates comprehensive programs to prevent the harmful effects of secondhand smoke and smoking among youth and adults.

Since cannabis was legalized in Oregon for retail sales, there have been attempts to weaken Oregon's Indoor Clean Air Act (ICAA) to allow for smoking and vaping of cannabis indoors. Oregon's ICAA is a foundational public health protection that protects most workers and the public from exposure to secondhand smoke indoors. Exposure to secondhand smoke is a well-documented health harm with large economic and health costs to the people in Oregon. During the webinar, you will learn about the intersection of cannabis and indoor clean air and understand why indoor clean air policies are relevant to those who work in tobacco and other drug prevention. In addition, HPCDP staff will provide the Oregon-specific data and landscape.
