Good afternoon, all -

Smokefree Oregon is about to begin production of new photos and videos that will be used in our upcoming advertising campaign (April through June) and on our updated website. We need your help to recruit four participants to feature in a group shot that will become one of the ads we use in the campaign.

Here is who we are looking for:
o Real people who have taken some action to fight tobacco in their community. This can be anything (posting about tobacco prevention on social media, talking to a school or employer about implementing a smoke-free policy, writing a letter to their local representative to ask them to stop tobacco industry marketing in their community, making their business or organization tobacco-free, volunteering to pick up butts, giving a presentation to a community group or school on tobacco's impact, etc.) We want to show people who have taken all kinds of actions - not just big ones, but small ones too!
o We're seeking as much diversity as possible to show that demand for tobacco prevention comes from every community in Oregon. To that end, we'll recruit for a mix of people from different racial and ethnic backgrounds.
o Any gender. We want the group photo to feature a mix of genders.
o Aged 25 - 50. We'll have other ads that feature youth as part of this campaign.
The photo shoot will take place in Portland on either January 30th and 31st (final date and time TBD). Each person will receive $100 for their participation. The session will last 3-4 hours.

If you have ideas for people to feature in the photo/ad, please email Olivia Stone at ostone at metgroup.com<mailto:ostone at metgroup.com> (also CC'd on this email) as soon as possible and provide the contact information of the person you suggest. We will reach out to them to gauge interest and coordinate logistics. This is a great opportunity to thank a local mover and shaker, cultivate a champion, and ensure that Smokefree Oregon reflects the full breadth of our work and partnerships.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or ideas you can send our way!

All the best,
Sarah W.
