It is August! I hope you are staying safe, well, and cool in the heat and wildfire season. In my garden, the tomatoes are ripening in force, which is my current moment of gratitude for the day.

Attached find the planned Smokefree Oregon (SFO) and Place Matters Oregon (PMO) social media calendars for this month. For Smokefree Oregon, we’re trying something new. We usually send a full month of posts, but this month we’re condensing down to a few key posts that align most with local work and stories. This approach is based on results from the survey we sent out a few months ago for local coordinators. We’re hoping this helps you prioritize and also focuses the messages we’re sharing statewide. Let us know what you think!

  *   Link if appropriate (I.e. newspaper article, press release, community event or celebration…)
  *   Requested date for publication (I.e. which day and month you would like the post to be featured)

A social media calendar is a communication tool that lays out the social media posts planned over the next month.
