Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all able to find time to rest and find moments of peace and joy this long weekend. There are several June announcements from the Communications Team (me 😉) so please hang in there for this extra-long email and many attachments. I promise it’s worth it! Just announced – Kick off the summer with Rethink the Drink!

  *   OHA is launching our new health communication brand, Rethink the Drink (RTD) on June 27th! RTD is a new statewide brand to build healthier communities by calling attention to the harms excessive alcohol drinking causes. Similar to SFO, we will have a website, social media, and technical assistance available. We will start sending out social calendars for RTD in August.
  *   Check out the June Partner TA Calendar attached! You will find many opportunities to learn more about the brand and brainstorm how you can utilize the content to support your prevention strategies.

·         June social media calendars attached! We are so excited to feature Pride content that refers people to the National LGBT Cancer Network’s Outlast Tobacco website<https://cancer-network.org/outlast-tobacco/>.

     *   Please send me any ideas for stories or other content you would like to see on SFO social!

·         SFO will launch a rural cessation campaign in mid-June! More information to come. ·         We're excited to share the new Smokefree Oregon Canva templates for TPEP Grantees which provides a shortcut to quality graphic design. They’re fully customizable, so you can change the colors, images and more to suit your organization, with the opportunity to co-brand with Smokefree Oregon.
