Upcoming Meetings and Training Opportunities:

1. Accreditation Work Group meeting coming up *Monday, April 8th 1:30-3:30pm
*. We will be discussing *Domains 1 and 6*, please prepare for the meeting
and bring all questions and/or documentation you are planning to use for
these domains for our discussion. We will also be discussing some recent
documentation requests, documentation collection and organizing methods and
upcoming training opportunities. Agenda is attached.

2. The Office of Equity and Inclusion is hosting a webinar on* Tuesday,
April 9th 10:00-12:00* focused on health equity considerations and
recommendations related to the public health accreditation. The webinar
will be focused on understand the building blocks for health equity as an
organizing strategy, connecting building blocks to accreditation standards,
and identifying specific operational strategies. *Please register here:

3. There is an upcoming OPHA Performance Management & Quality Improvement
In-person Training Workshop on *Tuesday, May 7th 9:00-4:00pm*. The workshop
is designed to help local, state, and tribal health departments fulfill the
performance management and quality improvement components of the Public
Health Accreditation Board national accreditation requirements. This
workshop will be led by Marlene Mason, BSN, MBA, PMQI Consultant. *Please
note that space for this workshop is limited, please contact me if you have
not registered or received an emailed invitation from Kim Krull at OPHA and
I will check on space.
