Good afternoon, all,
I wanted to share this LSTA Project Reporting Template<https://protect2.fireeye.com/v1/url?k=96f985b6-c962bd63-96fee540-86c0be171cec-ad7987cb580fba47&q=1&e=9834ec70-a046-488c-8c78-6292058596ad&u=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fdocument%2Fd%2F1FK3c8YD6O3MRMcbpzGU9kUX3g5NCD29TjV9cdqxifKI%2Fedit%3Fusp%3Dsharing> that I cobbled together from other states' activity reports and obviously a bunch from IMLS. I'm sharing it in case it will help anyone else gather SPR information. Special thanks to Catherine in North Carolina, Maura in Washington, Cindy in Ohio, and Jaime in Arizona for sharing resources that I've melded together into the monstrosity I am sharing with you all today.
I was inspired by Rachel in Utah to have all of my subrecipients enter their own reports in the SPR, and I also wanted to provide them with a template to enter information in so it would all be in one place for them to then copy/paste into the SPR. What I do is make a copy of that template for each subrecipient project (45 of them!) and set up a Google Drive folder for each project for the subrecipient to add all of their additional materials. I add the folder link to the Additional Materials section (page 2 of the template), and then send the subrecipient a link to their project report for them to fill in. They can then take that information and copy/paste it into the SPR. We currently do this for internal projects, so I believe we'll also be successful expanding it out to our subrecipients. Each and every one of those project reports is linked off a central spreadsheet that we use for budgeting and reporting. We'll put in some time and effort up front to train folks, but I think it 'll pay off dividends come SPR season. Not only is this going to save our staff some serious time, but I think it will also result in an increased focus on project outcomes for our subrecipients if we frame it correctly and provide adequate support.
Thanks again to everyone for sharing their resources on this listserv - it makes things so much easier when we don't have to reinvent the LSTA wheel.
Have a great rest of your abbreviated week, friends!
