The application for October 2025 Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training (OCFIT) is now OPEN! This training will be held IN-PERSON in Wilsonville, OR, from October 20-24, 2025. The deadline for applying is Monday, August 25th, at 11:59 p.m.

Training Overview

This intensive 5-day training will help you understand forensic interviewing in Oregon and guide you in engaging with the Oregon Interviewing Guidelines. The Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training (OCFIT) is evidence-based, supported by up-to-date research, and approved by the National Children’s Alliance to meet all Forensic Interview Training Standards.

Dates & Times

Monday, October 20 (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Tuesday, October 21 (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Wednesday, October 22 (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Thursday, October 23  (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Friday, October 24 (8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Tuition

OCFIT tuition will not be due until after the application status notifications are released.

Once an applicant is conditionally accepted for the training, they will be required to pay the $350.00 ($358.18 when paid via card) tuition by Monday, October 6, to secure their spot.

OCAS will provide payment instructions with the conditional acceptance notification email.
