[MyOEBB] OEBB - HRAs, HSAs and Exclusive PPO Dental Info

Good Morning,

I wanted to take a moment to provide you with some useful information.


  1.  Did you know our Delta Dental Exclusive PPO/Ortho plan only has in-network coverage?  In addition, there is no out-of-network coverage.  The network is different from our regular Delta Dental Premier plans.  I would encourage all members to research the network for the Exclusive PPO plan prior to selecting this plan to make sure their dentist is part of the network. To check the network follow these few easy steps:

*        Go to: https://www.modahealth.com/oebb/

*        Click on the teal box on the left hand side of the page titled "Find Care".

*        To search by network, click on the drop down menu on the right hand side of the page. Scroll down to the Dental Networks - Oregon and click on Delta Dental PPO. Click the pink "Search by network" box.

*        From here, you can simply enter the name of a provider (if you are looking for your current provider), OR you can enter a city and state and hit search.

*        The next page will provide the search results. To modify your search even further, you can do this on the left hand side of the page.


  1.  For the past several plan years, it has been OEBB's requirement that any subscriber who enrolls in the Moda Evergreen Medical plan must also qualify for and contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA). For the 2018/19 plan year, this requirement has been lifted. Moda Evergreen Medical plan and the new Moda Fir Medical plan may be offered as a stand-alone medical plan, or may be paired with an HSA. These two plans offered by Moda are incompatible with any type of Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).

Kaiser Permanente Medical plan 3 may be offered as a stand-alone medical plan, or may be paired with an HSA or HRA.

Moda Medical Alder, Birch, Cedar, Dogwood and Kaiser Permanente Medical plans 1 and 2 may be paired with an HRA.
