The message below will be sent this afternoon, to all OEBB member email addresses in the MyOEBB system (both personal and work). Not all members have accurate emails in the system, and some may have filter settings that will prevent our message from being delivered. Please share the webinar links and information with your employees in any way you wish. As noted below, the session will be recorded and all registrants will receive a link to the recording and slides.

Dear OEBB Member:

Senate Bill 1067 (SB 1067)<https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/2017R1/Downloads/MeasureDocument/SB1067/Enrolled> is a bill relating to government cost containment measures. It will begin affecting OEBB plans on October 1, 2019.

You may be affected by this bill if you have other family members (spouse, domestic partner, or children) eligible for OEBB or PEBB benefits.

For example, if:

  *   you receive an opt-out incentive (meaning you get something in exchange for NOT taking OEBB coverage and your other coverage is through OEBB or PEBB); or

  *   you are double-covered under OEBB or a combination of OEBB and PEBB coverage.

On January 30, 2019, OEBB will host two webinars to help you understand the effects of this bill, one focused on opt-out incentives and one focused on double coverage.
