Just a reminder that nominations for the 2011 Excellence in Downtown Revitalization awards are due July 15.

Oregon Main Street is pleased to announce we are now accepting nominations for our "Excellence in Downtown Revitalization" awards.  To be eligible, all projects, activities, or events submitted for recognition must have been completed between January 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.  Attached is information on the nomination process and the nomination form.  Nominations are due by July 15.  
 
Awards will be presented during a special celebration at the Oregon Main Street Conference, October 5-7, 2011 in Baker City, Oregon.   All levels of participants in the Oregon Main Street Network (Performing Main Street, Transforming Downtown, and Exploring Downtown) may submit applications.  Categories include:
 
-Outstanding Partnerships
-Best Economic Restructuring Story
-Outstanding Design Project
-Business Success Story
-Outstanding Organizational Project
-Outstanding Achievement in Promotion
-Innovation Award
 
Plus the following two categories are open to Performing Main Street and Transforming Downtown Communities only:
-Main Street Manager of the Year
-Volunteer of the Year
