[OMS_MANAGERS] Fwd: office computers

The HPLO has found that using a laptop with a monitor and keyboard in the
office is a very flexible set-up. You can take the laptop out on the road,
but have the ease of use in the office of the larger screen and keyboard.
We are PC-based and use the Publisher program for most of our simple
graphics needs, but hear Mac is great, too.

Subject: [OMS_MANAGERS] Fwd: office computers

The Salem Downtown Partnership will be hiring staff soon. In preparation,
they are getting an office put together and would like advice on whether an
Apple or PC is better based on the experience from our network. They do want
the person to have some graphic design skills. Also, laptop vs desktop?

Thoughts for them?
