Sheri - The PARKING IN OLD TOWN subject is getting big in Sherwood. Sherwood Main Street (SMS) is putting together a comprehensive plan to address this. We have met with the Police Department and the City Council is clearly interested. We have discussed it repeatedly at our SMS Board and SMS General Meetings. Would like to request information on what other Main Street cities have done & are doing on this subject -- plus any recommendations they might have.
The major topics include: Signage & Enforcement, Employee Parking, Loading/Handicap Zones, Business Needs, Permit Areas, Park & Ride Areas, Apartments, and other factors.
