Subject: [OMS_MANAGERS] Downtown Parking Survey
Hi:
I'm doing a survey regarding public parking in downtowns. I was hoping that you could take the time in answer a few questions.
1. Does your city have a time limit on on-street public parking in the downtown area? If so what is your time limits? 72 hours - applies throughout city, not just downtown.
1. Does your city have dedicate enforcement staff of these time limits? If not, how are the parking limits enforced? If so, do you know how enforcement is funded?
1. Does your city own public parking lots within the downtown? If so: Yes, two publicly owned parking lots
* Does the public parking lots have a time limit? If so, what are the limits? No limits
* Do you actively enforcement within the parking lot?
* How is the maintenance of the parking lots funded? Part of Public Works street fund
1. Does your city sell parking permits for Downtown? If so, what is the cost of the permit(s), and what does permit(s) allow? No permits
1. Does your community have its own enforcement or is by a third party provider? Own enforcement
1. Does your city issue residential parking permits for the Downtown? If so, what is the cost of the permit? IF not, how is parking for the downtown residence organized? No permits; no organization - residents park on street at night; may park up to 72 hours or park in public lots.
Thank you for taking the time to answer these question. You are helping me and Downtown Klamath Falls tremendously.
