The Pendleton Downtown Association (PDA) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. Named one of the best small towns by Smithsonian in 2018, Pendleton is situated at the foot of the Pacific Northwest's sprawling Blue Mountains. Pendleton's vibrant historic downtown is brimming with unique stores, craft beer, and a variety of eating establishments. The Pendleton Riverwalk follows the Umatilla River and the town's outskirts are bursting with options for outdoor adventures! With Boutique Air service via the Eastern Oregon Regional Airport in Pendleton, Portland International Airport is only a 60- minute ride away. Even as Pendleton prepares for the future, it cherishes its past. From the world-famous Pendleton Woolen Mills and the Pendleton Round-Up to the Rivoli Theater Restoration Coalition, Pendleton captures and shares the essence of the Old West. The executive director will work the PDA board to fulfill our mission to "Develop partnerships to stimulate economic vitality and investment in the downtown core, generate a positive image, and promote tourism while celebrating our Western Heritage."

This is a full time Salaried non-exempt position.  The salary range is $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a monthly Health Insurance stipend capped at $300.00, cell phone stipend capped at $50.00, after 6 months 80 hours of vacation, 40 hours of Sick Pay per annum, and major holidays are aligned with the City of Pendleton.
