Hi Matt,

We recently updated our downtown (MUCBD) sign code to encourage more classic, pedestrian-oriented signage. See MU-CBD and TMU zone regulations, starting on page 23:

Good Afternoon Oregon Main Street,

I'm hoping someone here can refer me to some excellent development code regarding signage in a downtown district. I'm specifically interested in encouraging tasteful, attached, non-self-illuminated signage, while banning self-illuminated boxes on poles. We're unlikely to get rid of "legacy" signs that currently exist, but I'd like to prevent more visual pollution from popping up downtown.
