[OMS_MANAGERS] Power at the Street & Holiday Lights

We have lights in the trees and light poles. The light poles were purchased by us with city funds and the city stores and installs them and if they need replacement we pay for that. Our light poles have power. For trees the city decided to save money and not install power with the new tree wells so we use battery operated led lights that we install. The batteries are supposed to last one season. They did run conduit to the tree wells so in the future power could be easily added but batteries are much cheaper.

I am hoping many of you have experience in these areas and can share a few things. First off, please send pictures of your Holiday lights if you have one. That would be very valuable. We are hoping to get your thoughts on how your community funded both of these types of projects. Was it all done by fundraising? Did you have businesses sponsor parts of it or find large sponsorships for the project? Did the City fund the majority of it? Any help, thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
