Hi All,

That's the trick isn't it?  We had a building that had paper over the windows that was doing some internal clean-up with the windows papered.  They didn't really finish, and the permit expired, we sent them notice to correct the code issue, which was to remove the paper.  It didn't really solve the issue as now you can see into the half cleaned up space, which isn't much better than the paper and is now more of a nuisance code issue.

I have my own ideas but just out of curiosity what does the City of Silverton normally suggest that owners do instead of boarding up the front?
