[OMS_MANAGERS] Merchant Survey?

One of the most in depth surveying was conducted by Emma Porricolo, a former RARE participant in Hermiston. Attached is a copy of her questions and the report she prepared.

I also attached a few other samples depending on the type of info you want to capture.

One word of advice is to make sure you know what you will do with the info you receive and keep the questions as short as possible. It is tempting to say “wouldn’t it be nice to know…” but unless you have a use for that info, it is better left off the survey.

My Economic Vitality committee is wanting to conduct a merchant survey to help get a better idea of what they perceive as being their main issues to help find ways to better engage them.
Does anyone here have experience with this? Any successes or failures, tips, good or bad questions to ask, a list of questions you got from a real good source, etc?
