In La Grande, we install our tree at Max Square, where there is a rainwater
drainage grate that can be removed, and the tree trunk lowered in. It's not
a perfect fit, so OTEC helps us secure it by cables to several nearby hard
points, but we're hoping next year to have a specially made base that will
sit in there and prop up the tree securely from the underground base.
