Bobbie,

 

Congrats on your street fair successes. Tigard has moved towards having a
local company (Ticket Tomato) register vendors for ALL our events including
Street Fair, Wine walks, Car Show and Artist registrations for our Art
weekend. They have also offered check-in support as well. They also assist
with managing a few other street fairs around the area, which then offers a
marketing outreach for possible new vendors as well!

 

Their primary role was selling tickets to events, however found new
opportunity to use the same platform for event registrations and has proven
well worth outsourcing for us. We still manage some street fair components
in house (i.e. vendor placement),  however they can customize registration
to your specific needs.

I have a question about vendor management for events.  Our Street Fest has
become very successful over the years and we have been manually managing the
vendors which has become very time consuming.  Can anyone tell me of a
vendor management program they use or any solutions to this problem?  Thank
