Greetings!
If you attended the recent presentations on ACA New Temp Hire and Eligibility, you may already be familiar with the updates we discussed. This email aims to provide a clear review and offer additional details to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Update to our Temporary Employee Hiring Process
Effective January 1, 2025, the process for hiring temporary employees in Workday was updated. This important change affects how we manage the process to determine eligibility for healthcare coverage of temporary employees.
Important New Requirement in the Hiring Process
The temporary employee hiring business process has been updated with required steps to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of determining coverage eligibility-vital for PEBB's accurate IRS reporting. To proceed with the temporary employee hire procedure, you must complete these steps.

It serves as a practical tool for users to familiarize themselves with the procedures before engaging with the business processes where this worksheet is embedded in Workday.
