OSPS News ~ 2023 Corrected W-2 Deadline

Good morning,

The deadline for agencies to submit cases for 2023 corrected W-2's (W-2C's) is October 1, 2025. This will allow Oregon Statewide Payroll Service (OSPS) to complete these corrected W-2's by the end of the year and amend the tax filings.

To request a corrected W-2, agencies should create a Workday case and send it to OSPS - Central Payroll Support. Please include the following information in the subject line of the case:

  *   Year of request (i.e. - 2023)
  *   W-2C request
  *   Employee's last name
  *   Employee's OR number

In the body of the case, please include the following forms:

  *   Copy of employee's original W-2.
     *   Found under employee's Workday Profile > Pay > Tax Documents
  *   2024 W-2C OSPS 99.12.xlsx (Please submit as a PDF through the case).
  *   Tax Refund Certification Form OSPS.99.13.pdf (if applicable).
     *   The last two forms can be found under Workday > Drive > Payroll Resources > Forms
