Our federal partners at the IRS have been working diligently on presenting phone forums and educational outreach for employers. For those of you who took advantage of last week's forum on W-4 & W-2s, attached are the results of the Q&A. Also in attachment form are the slides from the power point presentation.

On March 26, 2014, the third installment of the IRS forum on fringe benefits will take place. Attached are the Q&As from the fringe benefit series. As a reminder, this third presentation is offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Central Daylight Time) next Wednesday. (The forum is not archived by IRS nor are continuing ed credits available.) For those of you who are Oregon PERS participating employers:
Each month, PERS emails interested parties a summary of the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) that are proposed for rulemaking, copies of the Rulemaking Notices, and draft rules or a link to the PERS website where proposed and adopted rules are posted. If you would like to be added to the PERS Rulemaking email distribution list, please send a request to: Daniel.Rivas at state.or.us.

And last but certainly not least, early next week I will be sending out an employer survey to allow the state social security program to better meet your needs. This survey is anonymous and your participation will be greatly appreciated.
