Conexión Familiar es un grupo de apoyo que ofrece un espacio seguro para padres y cuidadores que estan cuidando de ninos y jóvenes que experimentan desafios de la salud mental, emocional, conductual, físico o de otro tipo se reunen para conectarse y brindar apoyo.

Conexión Familiar is a support group that offers a safe space for parents and caregivers who are raising youth experiencing behavioral, mental, or other health challenges to come together for connection and support,specifically for Spanish speaking families.

FREE STUDENT TRANSIT PASS PROGRAM

All students K-12 students are eligible for a free 1-year transit pass. (Kids 5 years and under ride free.)

All they have to do is go to their school office and make a request to receive their pass.

This is funded through a grant to help low-income families with the cost of transportation and to help students get to and from school and participate in after school activities.

THE ARC RESPITE EVENTS

The Arc Lane County hosts monthly respite events to give parents an opportunity to take a break. Parents do not have to be associated with The Arc Lane County to take advantage of these respite programs; but they must have a child (5-13 years) who experiences a disability, mental health or behavioral health challenge. Siblings are welcome to attend as well.

The Nurturing Fathers Program is an evidence-based, 13-weektraining course designed to teach parenting and nurturing skills to men. Each 2-hour class provides proven, effective skills for healthy family relationships and child development.
