Revised Technology Plan Due Date:  February 2, 2009

Due to the winter storms that extended many of your winter breaks, we have decided to extend the due date for Technology Plans.  We are also conducting several Tech Plan Technical Assistance workshops across the state.  If you already have a draft of your plan, we recommend you bring it to the workshops for feedback prior to submission.  If you have already submitted your plan, this will help with any revisions that might be necessary to get a plan approved.  If other ESDs or regions are interested in having a workshop in your local area, please let me know.  The following dates and locations are on the books:

 *   January 16    9-12 at Willamette ESD (Corin Richards, contact)
 *   January 20    9-12 in Bend (location TBD) (Steve Prull, contact)
 *   January 28    9-12 at Southern Oregon ESD (Virginia Petitt, contact)

Attached Documents:

 1.  Technology Planning Matrix:   Based on the feedback we have received from the two trainings and some help from Penny Grotting (Thank you, Penny), we have revised the Technology Planning Matrix to simplify it and to provide an Action Plan Template that is similar to the one many districts and ESDs are using for Continuous Improvement Planning.
 2.  Technology Plan Cover Sheet:  Please include a completed cover sheet with your Technology Plan.  If you have already submitted a plan, please send us your completed cover sheet and we will put it with your Technology Plan.
