 *   Funding Status.  The first funding wave for FY 2011 is now targeted for June.  Wave 51 for FY 2010 is scheduled for this week.
 *   Gifts and Special Compliance Reviews.  With the FCC's new gift rules in effect, we are beginning to see more applicants asked to provide information on service provider gifts and conference attendance.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  A guest editorial on the retroactive application of new E-rate rules and/or interpretations.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated May 20.  Last week's News Brief reviews the special summer PIA contact procedures now in place.  It also provides an updated on the SLD's fall training workshops.
