[HealthyTribes] November 9th and 10th Tribal Tobacco Cessation training and Northwest Tribal Cancer Coalition meeting

Hi All,
               The IHS Portland Area Office, Cow Creek Health & Wellness Center, the Northwest Tribal Comprehensive Cancer Project at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, and Yakama Healthy Heart program are partnering to provide a two day training on the Basic Tobacco Skills for Native Communities.  This is a training based in the 5As and 2As&R evidence based intervention.  It was adapted by the IHS Tobacco Task Force for use in tribal communities.  The training is limited to 20 participants, so please register online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2015CowCreekTobaccoCessation if you are interested in implementing tobacco cessation in your clinic or health programs.
