[HealthyTribes] Updated: Vaping press kit for LPHAs

Hello, all -

Please find attached an updated press kit for LPHAs for the flavored vaping product sales ban. This includes:

  *   LPHA customizable press release (*updated* English and *new* Spanish)
  *   LPHA talking points (*updated*)
  *   Social media post text (English and Spanish)
  *   Social media post images (*updated* English and *new* Spanish)
     *   Note the enforcement-specific social media shares! We highly encourage you to use these shares to encourage the public to report sales ban violations.

Also new on our website (www.healthoregon.org/vaping<http://www.healthoregon.org/vaping>) are resources for retailers, educational partners, health care providers, and others who work with youth. We have some translations posted and are adding others as they are available. I have also attached a sample letter you can send to educational partners to communicate these resources.

New materials include:

  *   Posters for providers, youth, and parents/educators
  *   A draft letter for school districts to send to parents
  *   Billing and referral information for the Oregon Quit Line and other cessation resources for youth

Still to come: a customizable op-ed and letter to the editor templates for your partners.
