Hi Wendy,

When I enter our subawards into FFATA I always use the bulk upload feature for multiple awards in one report.

Whenever we have an award that meets the thresehold (now 30k) later than they original awards (budget amendment, new award etc.) , I always reopen the report add that new award manually. So, for each federal award number I only have one report in the system.

Hope this helps!

Catherine

Thanks to everyone who replied, both on and off the list! Shout-out to Debra Rose from Minnesota for the extra help. I'm so glad I've got your collective wisdom to rely on.

To summarize: GPLS issued CARES ACT subgrants to 2 libraries (awarded in late Feb) of more than $30K and hit a snag reporting them. The system would not allow the submission of two FFATA reports for the same report month.

In this case, we solved it by changing the month of the second subgrant.

I recognize that this will not work when we're subgranting to all of our 60 library systems. Do you list multiple DUNS numbers/subgrants on one report?

I'm also imagining a scenario where a library system may be granted $30K each in two separate waves of ARPA funding, for $60K total, separated by several months. Does that second grant trigger a second report, or does the first report get amended in some way?

Appreciate your patience with my questions! We're all trying to do this right, and I'm grateful for the chance to learn from you.

Thanks,

My finance person has hit a wall with our first attempt to report two sub-awards over $30K. While there are two help desk tickets submitted with the Federal Service Desk, it's been 3 weeks. I may need more patience.

I wonder if it might be possible to ask the process-focused question to one of you who does this on the regular. Who's game?

Take care,

Wendy
