[OMS_MANAGERS] Board Member selection matrix?

Hi Erin,

 

This is not a selection matrix but we recently created a new board member
application and packet. In the last two months, we have brought on six board
members. I am attaching the packet to this email in case it might be of help
to you. We created it using Klamath Falls and Yukon, OK apps, plus adding a
few things we identified as needs for us.

Full disclosure, I haven't yet check Main Street America for this.

Anyone have a decision matrix table for evaluating potential new board
members?

We must be building momentum here in St Helens, because we definitely have
attracted the interest of folks who now want to join our board.
Unfortunately, a couple of the recent inquiries also make it obvious that we
need a clear way to be able to allow us to clarify on a continuum, why some
board members are a better fit than others. ("Plays well with others" and
"will add to the stature and reputation of the organization rather than
detract" come to mind..)

So in the spirit of R&D, anyone have something they use & like, beyond the
obvious diversify the board charts?
