Good afternoon,

DAS Workday Support Team updated employees with a 2024 filing status of Exempt to a 2025 filing status of Single as of February 19, 2025. This was done because Federal and State of Oregon requirements have a due date of February 17, 2025, to file a new W-4 Exempt status for employees.
Below are the three lists uploaded to Workday Drive that contain detailed employees that were changed to a tax election status of "Single" in Workday.

Workday Drive File path: Payroll Resources>Communications>2025>W-4 Exempt Status

  *   2025 Federal W-4 Exempt Status Change
  *   2025 State W-4 Exempt Status Change
  *   2025 Other States W-4 Status Change

Attached is a sample email that agency HR and Payroll Partners can use to reach out to employees to employees on the above lists to let them know of this change. Employees will need to update their W-4 by February 23, 2025, to be effective for the February 28, 2025, payslip.
